# Submitting a skin

The form is at https://oplimit.squarewavellc.com/submit.html. This is what
it asks for.

## The file

- One `.oplskin`, at most 2 MB, that passes `node skinning/check.js` with no
failures. Warnings are fine but will be read.
- `id` unique and yours; something like `handle.skinname` avoids clashes.
- `name`, `nameJP` and, in the form, a one-line description in English.
- Screens: each must run every state the checker exercises and stay well
under the budget on a phone. A screen that faults in review is a rejection.

## Metadata on the form

- A **handle** for the gallery card. No account is created; the handle is
just a label, and it is how a reader hides everything by one author.
- A **contact email**, for us only, never published. Used to reach you about
a review question or a takedown.
- A **licence**: CC BY 4.0 (others may share and build on it with credit)
or CC0 (public domain), your choice on the form. Either lets the gallery
  redistribute the file.

## Content

- No hateful, sexual or violent imagery or text; no slurs in any language,
  including inside `nameJP` and captions.
- No trademarks, logos, character names or copyrighted artwork. The app
draws on a well-known robot show; your skin must not borrow its names,
logos or designs. Original work only.
- No personal data about anyone.
- Scripts stay inside the documented API. Anything that probes for more is
  rejected outright.

## Review

Every submission is read by a person before it is listed; nothing appears
in the gallery unreviewed. Expect days rather than hours. We may suggest
changes rather than reject. Listed skins can be reported from the app and
are taken down within a day of a valid report; the author is told why.

## Rights and takedowns

By submitting you confirm the work is yours to license. Rights holders can
write to the address in Setup › Send feedback; valid notices are acted on
within a day and the submitter is informed.
